Saturday morning Keirin heats, came up against the world champion Chris
Hoy in
the 1st round and gave him a run for his money but unfortunately he was
just too good. Hope
to in his position one day. Went into the repecharge and met a Fushimi
a great Japanese rider and a Ukraine, Korean. Tactically for this race
worked out just the way I wanted it to and I won the
round to get a ride into the semi's where is the top three through to
the final
on this afternoon. Cheers Perko.

I am just in Copenhagen
at the moment very cold here. Racing world cup on the weekend. Feeling good and
looking forward to racing. Had a light training track session yesterday with a
touch up gym session yesterday afternoon.
Australian titles was very interesting and I am happy with the way I was going.
I have learnt a lot about my body from training myself this past 6 months and
have a lot more to learn to hit the perfect form. But Australian titles were a
great judge although with some controversy in the sprint life goes on….
I would have liked to be in the final of the sprint but ended up with the
bronze, and in the team sprint was happy with my times and have a bit of work
to get those down before the worlds in end of march. I’m looking forward to the
challenge though.
The Keirin
I was feeling great just got boxed and unable to make a smooth run to the
finish.
My standing lap early in the week i was happy with as I have not been doing too
much concentration on the standing lap this past couple months. But to be doing
17.8 on every occasion I touch the start gate I am very happy with the constancy.
